Does Katie Kiteboard?

No! Katie’s main wind sport is wing foiling, a newer watersport where you hold an inflatable wing while riding a board with a hydrofoil underneath.

Her younger brother, Izak, is the kiteboarder in the family. He specializes in Big Air kiteboarding and has won multiple competitions.

The whole family is deeply connected to windsports. Katie and Izak learned from their dad, who is one of the world’s top kiteboarding instructors. He taught Katie how to wing foil and taught Izak how to kiteboard.

What are windsports, and how can i learn?

Windsports are sports that use the power of the wind to move you across the water or land. They include kiteboarding, wing foiling, windsurfing, and kite foiling.

If you’re interested in learning, the best way to start is with lessons from a qualified instructor. Katie’s dad, Safety Stu, owns Endless Windz and is one of the world’s best kiteboarding instructors. People travel from across the country to learn from him, and he teaches students the skills they need to safely get started and progress in their wind sport.
